On August 28-30, 2007 in SNRCU the work meeting with experts of Swedish authority for radiation protection (SSI) will take place.

 

Meeting will be held within framework of Project of cooperation with SSI UKR A1-1 “Legislation and support of regulatory authority”.   

This is the 2^nd meeting of Ukrainian and Swedish experts this year within framework above mentioned project.

SSI experts:

Zlatan Delyalich – project manager of international cooperation department ;

Wolfram Leits and Birgitta Swan – experts of Department of professional and medical  exposure;

Gunilla Gelstrem – chief consultant.

Personnel of the State Nuclear Regulatory Committee of Ukraine, Institute of radiation protection, State scientific and technical center for nuclear and radiation safety, Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine, Ministry of Health will present Ukraine.

During the meeting following affairs are planned to discuss:

-          Swedish experience on adoption of legislation to EU requirements;

-          Ukrainian plan on implementation of HASS directives;

-          Ukrainian plan on implementation of directives for transportation;

-          Training of medical personnel.

Also meeting agenda includes visiting Chernobyl NPP.
