IV INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL CONFERENCE
«NPP INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS: SAFETY ASPECTS»

 

28-30 September 2009 in Kharkov (Ukraine) State Nuclear Regulatory Committee of Ukraine, State Enterprise "State Scientific-Technical Center on Nuclear and Radiation Safety" in cooperation with National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Energoatom", Department of nuclear physics and energy National Science Academy of Ukraine and Kharkov Regional State Administration will organize IV International Scientific-Technical Conference "NPP Instrumentation and Control Systems: Safety Aspects".

Head of Organization committee – Head of State Nuclear Regulatory Committee of Ukraine E.A.Mikolaychuk.

Head of International program committee – Prof. M.A.Yastrebenetsky.

Organizers invite the Ukrainian and foreign specialists: employees of NPP, designers and manufacturers of NPP instrumentation and control systems (I&C), specialists on safety regulation, scientists, professors of technical universities and specialists from the others safety critical branches of industry to take a part in conference.

A lot of problems due to nuclear safety ensuring under development and operation of I&C on NPPs will be discussed during the conference:

§        Safety assurance for new and modernized I&C on NPP of Ukraine and foreign countries;

§        Methods and results of digital NPP I&C safety and reliability assessment;

§        New Ukrainian and international standards on NPP I&C;

§        Ageing of hardware and life extension;

§        I&C designed by Ukrainian developers for customers from other countries;

§        Instrumentation and control systems for perspective next-generation NPP units;

§        Professional education on automation of NPP.
